Paul is a versatile operations and IT executive with a passion for delivering transformational business improvements. His broad range of skills and experience allow him to make quick and significant impacts on a business. His experiences range from working with small private startup businesses to directly managing large global operations. Paul is an executive who understands how environments where internal and external relationships, and building and growing a strong team, are critical to business success.

 

Throughout his career, Paul has repeatedly led teams through a transformation to high performance. Paul’s personal contributions range from strategy development and communication to hands-on execution. Underlying all of Paul’s successes are his ability to simplify and resolve seemingly complex situations, and his skill at building teams and processes that continue improving once he has moved on toother roles.

Paul’s experience includes serving as:

• Senior VP of Accenture’s utility customer service and billing SaaS and outsourcing business

• Lead for the post-bankruptcy restart of a recently acquired cleantech grid-scale energy storage business

• Canadian President of a large multi-national government services business

• Operations lead for Accenture’s global network of helpdesk call centers

• VP and General Manager of Enbridge's Shared Services division (IT, HR, Fleet and Facilities)

• Lead of Enbridge’s customer care operation, and its spin-off as a separate unregulated company

• VP of Operations for a start-up Engineering and SaaS firm providing pipeline failure prediction and risk probability analysis

• Transition lead for Algonquin Power’s acquisition of two of Enbridge’s utility companies
